Shakira's Story
Shakira came to Born Like Others when she was just 4 years old. She had lost both her parents and had no one to take care of her. When she arrived, she was shy and barely spoke.
Today, Shakira is one of the brightest students in her class. She loves reading, science, and playing with her friends at the home. Her favorite subject is biology because she dreams of becoming a doctor.
With the support of her sponsors, Shakira now has access to proper education, healthcare, and a loving family at BLO. She is proof that with a little love and support, every child can thrive.
